Hi, im about to buy a 360 with the jasper chipset.The manufacture date is 15/4/09.Will that mean that it has the new lite on 83850c drive in?.Ive flashed a few stock lite-ons but not the new ones.Thanks in advance

It's pretty simple to flash the new liteons. And on the plus side you don't need the ck3 kit and probe. Just plug drive with sata to your computer. My buddies both got a new 360 a month and a half ago and they had the old liteons. Don't remember the manufacture date on it though.

I doubt it will be the new Lite On. Only the very newest systems have them. That is, like 1 month old systems.
