Achievements from BANNED console to working WORKAROUND

Is there a work around to this. Has anyone tried using a memory stick and un plugging it after gained achievements?
Maybe find some way to prevent the gamertag corrupting or fixing it to recover the achievements?

Well as far as i know the hard drive or device that gets corrupted is the one plugged in at the time of the ban?
So maybe a memory device would work? Hmm
I was also wondering...
Ive recovered my tag onto a new console with a new hard drive. If i then put my new hard drive into my old console to play backups, im going to assume it will corrupt again?

I've heard that it's just the console that gets banned so try putting your hard drive on another machine to connect to live.

Won't work, as to get the profile working on any other console, you have to do an account recovery. As of now, there is no way around this.

you sure about that? bc i can take my HD back and forth between my two consoles and dont need to recover anything. unless you have to recover when switching between banned/ not banned. both of mine are still good to go, one modded, one not.

Its only a problem if one of the consoles is banned. That's why you can do it without an issue

That is how I found out my console was banned. I went to a buddies house with my flashed box to play some arkham asylum. He put his memory card back into his xbox and it said it was corrupted.

im also curious if there is a workaround to keep achievements using a memory card...

@ guyver No because when you go from the flashed xbox to the non-flashed it will corrupt the gamertag and youll have to recover on the non-flashed. and when you do that you'll lose all achievements you gained offline.

This banned console really is useless now.
Guess I could flash another xbox and make sure to keep it OFFLINE. I should have no issues keeping achievements etc!
I will definitely wait a while before flashing/going online again,

I guess theyre working on a non-detectable firmware right now. But I'm waiting till black friday or after christmas for my next xbox. New firmware should be out and hopefully the ban wave will be over. Can't believe I'm missing out on MW2.
