Activate iso need help

Hi i made a wave 4 activate iso and i put it in and it said "put this into a xbox 360 console" (like supposed to)
then i took it out and i put my wave 4 game in my xbox and it still said "play dvd"
what do i do?
***Trust me i did EVERYTHING correctly i just don't know what going on
i really need help because im wasting these really expensive discs

what ixtreme version are you using? I had 1.5 and it wouldnt accept activate iso's

Have you tried putting the activate.iso in and letting it spin, when it says play dvd press eject and insert the game.

i have tried that one and the one that u press A and then eject it
it still wont work

Are you certain that you're on 1.6?
Did you flash it yourself and when was it flashed?

i flashed a couple months ago right
and then i did think it was 1.6
so i flashed it again to make sure it was 1.6
how would i be able to tell if its 1.6?

The two ways to tell is dump the drives firmware or see if the activate.iso works.
If you flashed it yourself why not save money on discs and flash it to 1.61 or LT (lite-ons only) firmware

Just do what you did before but use 1.61 ixtreme firmware to flash it.

No 1.61 reads wave 4, 5 and 6 so no need for am activate iso.

well i dont know what i did wrong i did it with jungleflaher and i had the firmwire 1.61 it seems like i did everything correctly
where do you think i went wrong?
I really have to get this fixed because my xbox wont even play my regular games that i bought at the store..
i followed this youtube video to flash it.

if it doesnt play regular games, you screwed up the flash. you either didnt didnt dump the firmware before attempting to flash, or didnt hit spoof to source before flashing the cfw to the drive, or used the wrong drives firmware on yours (ie samsung FW on your benq drive). if you did did the first one, you are totally screwed as there isnt a way to get your drive key to fix the process. if you did dump the FW and save it, then there is hope. if the 2nd two is your case, then read leerages tutorial on flashing the benq drive in the ultimate sticky and stop watching stupid people on youtube that usually have no clue what they are talking about.
