I have a benq drive that I bought on ebay to replace an old sammy. That xbox is now broke so I was wondering if I could swap the liteon (For ease of future flashing) with my benq.

Is it now locked to the console? I dont know where my OG sammy firmware is.. Or would it be as easy as erasing and spoofing it as my liteon?
