My rip i got of AVP is a wave 6 game but shows as SSV1 but was ripped with a 360 0800 drive, should i patch the SSV 2 files which are on the verified abgx site ? or is it fine cos its an 0800 rip

If your SS CRC and DMI CRC match, patch it.

It was my understanding that 0800 drives never produced SSv1 files? I don't rip myself, so I can't say first hand.

If there is an SSv1 file on an 0800 ripped ISO, I would guess that it had already been patched using ABGX and therefore the 0800 additional info got patched over with Kreon sub-par info.

A 0800 drive will only produce SSv1 results if it rips a Kreon backup.

Ripping a retail game disc with 1.6 0800 firmware using a 360 drive will always produce SSv2 results.

No the ss crc and dmi crc on the version i got is different to the ones just verified on ABGX.net.
mine is ssv1 but 0800 drive which i dont understand but i think i should input the ssv2 ss crc and dmi crc verified on abgx Shouldent I..

It has to have iX 1.6 0800 firmware flashed to the drive. If it is any previous 0800 firmware, it will not get SSv2.
