i have a modded xbox 360. are there any other ways to play the games without the boot disc? have they found the way to overcome the so-called wave _ effect?

1:Upgrade the firmware to 1.61

2:patch the game to a lower wave with wavepatcher (will get you banned)

if you did have a look at the forum posts or indeed checked out the interweb you'd see that FW 1.61 was invented to circumnavigate the need for a boot disc and if you have a liteon drive there is the new and shiny LT FW which relies on you having written your game perfectly to your DVD to play on XBL again.
