I believe my TS-H943 is done for. I think it shorted out when I went to unplug the SATA cable from the back of it. I remember feeling a shock. I can't believe I didn't remember to ground myself before digging around near the Xbox. So... here are a few questions I have now going forward
Is there any possible way to salvage the drive? It won't eject or make any noise, but is it possible to swamp some part of the board that will allow it to run again?
Since I was using Jungle Flasher I still have the original MS28 firmware and dvd key. So with the original stuff can I just buy a replacement Samsung drive and then hook it up again with my SATA card/cables and use Jungle Flasher to flash my replacement drive with my original firmware/key?
Then when I have my replacement flashed back then can I start over again with flashing it with Jungle Flasher and Ixtreme 1.6 so I can play backups?
Awesome. That is good to know. This definitely sucks, but at least the entire Xbox wasn't shocked to death.
I should mention that when I was flashing the drive retarded Vista crashed on me. Just before it crashed Jungle Flasher would get stuck during the writing phase halfway through. So... is that possibly why my drive no longer works or turns on? Could an error halfway through flashing brick a drive?
When I do get my new drive what should I use? I was using Jungle Flasher because it seemed easier than all these old tutorials out there wanting me to create a floppy disk (who the hell uses those nemore) and tons of steps.
What is the easiest program/tutorial to use when I get my new drive to get back in business?

Thanks!
Use Jungle Flasher with the Jungle Flasher PDF (google it) and you will not go far wrong.
One more quick thing for ya. This is probobly a dumb question and rather me just being paranoid, but you don't think I fried my xbox because I shocked/shorted out the Samsung drive?
I mean the Xbox still turns on it just gives me the one red light meaning DVD/HD error (obviously) but everything seems to work. Could that shock transfer over to the motherboard in anyway? I wouldn't think it could. I mean the only thing connecting it to the MB is the tiny power cable. Also the DVD drive was removed and was sitting halfway outside of the case that it normally is in (damn short power cable). I know I am prolly being nuts, but do you think its alright?
Which error code are you getting on the red light? I believe if you can power the system on without the drive connected and you dont get the red ring your motherboard should be ok
Yeah I am all good. Drive is not in the xbox at all anymore and it boots up with just a flashing green light, but I hear thats normal when somethings missing to get the green light.
But yeah no red light at all. The only time I would get a red light was when I had the DVD drive connected and obviously that was because the drive is bricked. Oh well. Lesson learned... sigh...
I have my Via card in the mail and will order a new Samsung tomorrow. Hopefully should all be ready to go by the weekend.
I'll tell ya I can't wait for this to be flashed. I don't wanna do this crap again lol.
