I have several unbanned motherboards. Can I take the chip from one of these and replace it on a motherboard that is banned? Just curious. Of course I would need the keys from that board, but just a thought.

I've never heard of anyone replacing just the chip itself, but swapping motherboards is possible. Replacing the chip might prove to be very difficult without specialized tools.
