Any ideas on what it will take to flash a Slim drive?

I saw yesterday that c4eva said to expect a release of the cfw for the 9504 drives within 96 hours.
Does anyone know if these drives (9504,0225 & 0500) require soldering or if a simple connectivity kit will get the job done?

it only 9504 thats coming out within 96 hours.others will follow after.no soldering will be required for 9504 drives.nothing else is known yet on other drives.all you need is a via 6421 or x360usb for 9504 drive along with ck3pro/lite

I am just getting prepared. I haven't even cracked the case on my Slim. I believe the manufactured date is somewhere around 10-2010. I have not even looked on 360drives to see what it "may" contain. I already have the VIA Card and Ck3 pro.

if your drive is 0225 you wont be able to flash with via card,you ll need x360usb to do that one :)

I just opened the case. I have a 0225. Do I really need the xbox360usb? If so, why wont the ck3 pro work?

I'm gonna be waiting atleast a couple of weeks anyway since mine has 0225 fw. I'm gonna see what kind of results people are having with the 9504 cfw once it is released. I'm excited about the 9504 release and I have a 0225!
widowmaka: What makes you so sure that the 360usb is required? It looks like the only difference between it and the ck3 pro/lite is that there is no SATA pc connection/chipset worries.
