Anyone hear any news about abgx360 1.0.2. hearing any date being tossed around?
i understand there is a patch out but im getting mixed feeling about it some people say it worked and others say it is just a hack or some-sort and it will get you flagged, i don't think im going to risk anything. so no patch for me.
but has anyone herd a release date for abgx360 1.0.2?

You can try using that patch thats going around. I'm using my console offline so all I really care about is that the game actually boots. I downloaded a copy of mw2 and the video was wrong so it would not boot.

Easier to just download the RROD version.

Your right, but I am using that patch now and it does check if the video is right. I looked in a thread elsewhere and there is a program that you can patch a game to any wave. The MW2 I downloaded might have been patched to wave 3. Maybe I can patch it back to wave 4 to work. Either way, the RROD version does work and I don't care for online play so I have no worries of being banned

The current version of abgx360 is perfectly capable of verifying wave 4 games 100%. It can autofix the SS or DMI if necessary too.
What it can't do is repair an ISO if the wave 4 video partition is corrupt or missing, but if that's the case, the game wouldn't verify anyway so you'd know that you're not safe to burn it. Even that patched version of abgx360 can't do that, so in terms of verifying games, it's no better than the current official version.

Your image isn't displaying.
It doesn't matter if you get the messages about the PFI and Video partition "not matching known data" as long as the CRCs match with what's in the database. You should see something like this at the bottom of the log: -
Quote: Video CRC matches
V0 CRC matches
V1 CRC matches
PFI CRC matches
DMI CRC matches
SS CRC matches
Xex CRC matches
AnyDVD style corruption was not detected
Game CRC = ******** (matches)
All CRCs match
Verification was successful, Stealth passed!
Obviously it will display the actual game CRC rather than those asterisks, but this means that the game verifies and is as safe to play as any other wave of game.

I see it now. That's fine. It verifies perfectly.
abgx360 doesn't recognise the PFI and video partition because wave 4 didn't exist when it was created. It's still comparing the PFI and video CRCs with those that are in the verification database and if even 1 bit of data was different, the CRCs wouldn't match and verification would fail, so in that respect it's no different from any other wave. Your version of the game matches up 100% with the one in the database. If it didn't, it wouldn't say this at the bottom of the log: -
Quote: All CRCs match
Verification was successful, Stealth passed!
