if you are lucky enough to have the 9504 drive then you may see a firmware by the end of this month, if you have the 0225 it could be 6 weeks plus, if you have the hitachi i'm guessing around july.

Eek, 3 new drives. I though there was only 2. Is there anyway to tell which one you have without opening the xbox?
Don't think so. I'm sure the hitachi has a different tray then the liteons though, but since the 9504 and 0225 are both liteons, I doubt you can tell. The only thing different is FW on those two models.
i have not seen one but i heard that the hitachi tray has a notch in the side just like the old models, the liteons would be hard to determine without opening it.
if you really want to flash your slim and have the 9xxx series liteon, dump it and Spoof it to a FAT liteon. That is confirmed working. other than that, www.c4evaspeaks.com for constant udpates.
