i looked around the first page but couldnt find anything.

i got my console modded and then heard about the mass bans going around so i never plugged it back into live and just been doing the single player thing for now.

my buddy told me that some new firmware update or something got released to make online play safe again. i think hes lying lol so whats the deal?

and if there isnt anything new anybody wanna give me a quick runthrough as to any progress made since the ban wave?

You will find the forum more responsive to your questions when it is evident that you've taken the time to look a little harder. All the informtion you are looking for is available within the first few pages of posts on this forum.

That said, never feel safe online with mods on your console. Your odds will be "better" with the new code slated to come out.

The new firmware coming out will utilize methods that the author(s) believe are undetectable by M$, at least based on the information available to them today. No guarentees though.

True. No guarantees ever. We thought we were safe with 1.6, right?
