So I just bought a JTAGed xbox and I try and play ASB on it, and it says I need an update, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Is there anyone out there who has step by step instructions and links as for any kind of software I may need? ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance guys/gals!

Awesome, only problem is I don't have the original NAND since I bought this from someone. Any thoughts?

Got it! One of the kinetics links worked perfectly, and finally figured out what I was doing wrong. Stupid media folder haha. Thanks a ton for all your help, hopefully this will hold me over for a while for updates.

you should at least update to 2.0.12625.0 if you want to play games with wave 11 such as LA Noire, Portal 2 etc etc and not have to be asked about updating

Also, when putting files on my hdd, do I need both the .ISO and DVD file, or just the .ISO to play?

you only need the iso and then you use a program called iso2god to convert the game into JTAG format. You can also also install the game onto a external hdd which freestyle dash can read
