your drive will be flashed back to stock doesnt matter if it was on the may update,u will not be able to dump the drive with JF or unlock it,you can dump the keys with lizard but when you start to do the write process lizard freezes,i been trying to explain this to the people on xbox scene board but some are hard headed or everyone has a phat box lol

yea ive been following your post over there and here. Im still not going to update untill we get word from C4. but these issues are why ive been staying away from a slim for a while.

Late last night I flashed a refurb I got back from MS repair center.
- Drive is a fat LO 9, stock, never flashed
- Started with 9199 dash
- ran all LIVE updates
- dash is 13146
- opened the console and prepped drive for mra hack
- jf 184 read drive as LO 9 with 0251 (it's a fat lite on)
- drive wouldn't vendorto vender.. just hung on x52
- drove me nuts for an hour... I KNOW my soldering skills
- said piss on it and threw together a pmt
- worked fine with jf 184... (would have preferred ENTIRE firmware dump though)
- wrote lt19
I'm just wondering if I picked up that latest update last night. It updated to 13146, which I wanted to do before flashing anyhow. But I tried recovering my profile and before it would let me there was yet another small update (after I already applied the large 13146).

looks like you got the old update last night(13146), must've been just hours before the new dashboard update(13599), which came out this morning.

Not sure what the dash has to do with the MRA ? It should dump regardless. I've seen your soldering skills and they are great ;)
Strange how PMT would work.

Yeah, was just reading that the new one updates the dash to 13599. It's just odd that I was having the same problems with JF not dumping the drive as others.

True I guess I didn't put into fact that the FW changed on the drive. JF and lizard will probably have to be updated.

Was reading over on XS about others not being able to use JF to dump (with this latest LIVE update) but still could with Lizard. JF was doing for them the same as it was doing for me... just hanging and not going into vendor.
Lizard dumps like pmt; key, inq., etc. Just the essential info needed; not the whole firmware like mra does.
So I was sort of putting 2 and 2 together. JF not working for them, JF not working for me. Lizard does still work for them, pmt (pulls same info as Lizard) does still work for me.
