if you play burned cds on a modded xbox 360 and you dont go online ever
can i just delete my gamertag and make a new one then go online with original copies?

It's not your gamertag they detect playing backups, it's your console.

However, if you never ever played online there's a slight chance you can avoid being banned since there's no way they could have flagged your console whenever they started finding whatever it is that's giving modded consoles away.

IF they simply can detect the iXtreme firmware either on the drive or stored in the console's memory ... then there's NOTHING you can do.

IF they are detecting the iXtreme firmware on dvd drives ONLY ... then flash your console back to the original firmware before you go on Live for the first time ever.

Since no one really knows the true reason for this mass banning ... all I can say is "roll the dice".

I'm wondering what my chances are that I'm flagged already... not that there is a definite answer:

Played Fable 2 offline
Played Magnacarta2 offline
then
Logged on Live only once to play blazblue online (played one match)

was just to test out after I flashed it last week.


PS: Ebxtreme I don't think that's sony's CEO :P Howard Stringer is
