Can you use the xbox disc trey to back up xbox 360 games? If so how and with what program cause i tried XBC and schtrom v3 and they both didn't recognize my disk drive while jungle flasher did. If anyone could help me that would be great! Thanks!

This isn't feasible to use your XBOX 360's DVD drive each time you want to back up games. What you need to do is purchase a separate drive (BenQ would be ideal) and flash iX 1.6 0800 firmware to the drive. That 0800 firmware will allow your PC to recognize the drive.

So does that mean i could use my xbox 360 dvd drive for backing up games cause i wont really want to back up very much, i would just back them up all at once and it would save me a lot of time (rather than downloading them). If its really difficult could you give me a link to that drive and to the firmware?

You could flash LiteOn iX 1.6 0800 firmware to your drive but you need to obtain the original firmware (referring to your other thread) first. But the problem here is you would have to flash the firmware back to iX LT when you want to play backups and flash iX 1.6 0800 when you want to copy games.
The reason I suggested to get a separate drive is so you wouldn't have to dissemble your 360 each time you wanted to copy a game.

I use a kreon drive. That way it actually fits my computer fine. Keep in mind, you still need to patch the ISO files to SSV2

I had the same. Now I have a BenQ inside my PC. SSv2 rip right from the PC.
Dremel to cut off the 4 plastic legs and to cut the 4 "humps" on the metal housing.
Small connectivity kit double-sided taped to the back of the BenQ.
Still need to make a custom faceplate for the drive.
Xecuter, XCM or someone should sell a conversion kit to do this.

is the keron drive already flashed? or do you need to flash yourself? Also does that act as a regular dvd drive? or just a xbox backup creator?
And if i need to flash it can you post a link to the firmware? Thanks!

Seriously dude, you don't need flash the burner, only the reader (the kreon drive). Just use the burner as is.

Is it a burner?
Yes? Then leave the damn thing alone and start burning games. Burners don't need to be flashed.
No? Then it's a regular drive meaning you can't do anything 360 related to it. No flashing, no nothing.
Only Samsung SH-D162 & SH-D163 series can be flashed with Kreon. You have a SM-352f. It's not the same.
