I know there are ways to backup games and protect yourself using a$$x. But is there a safe way when your doing DLC so that you won't get the ban hammer from xbl?

no need..unless you JTAGed your xbox Xbox Live recognises the DLC as it legally brought

i have the xsata and use xport if i put dlc on my drive can i play it offline? if my box isn't jtaged

im pretty sure you can do that with any map packs but with the DLC that comes with achievements im not really sure as i always downloaded the dlc off my friends xbox live account and would play it on my own account
