But i thinck the dvd-key is not correct because when i want to start a backup or
original disk it says it's a dvd !!!
I burned the xexmenu to disk wich strange enough does get seen by the drive as a game
started it and installed the xexmenu to my hard-disk from a usb-stick.
Xexmenu works, games from hd & emulators are working to !!! :) :) :)
Someone has an idea to get my dvd-drive working again.
As i tried 3 different drives giving troubles i thinck the key is still not correct.
...
We are slowly getting there :D
Im guessing the eject is now working then if its able to read a the XEXmenu ISO disk. Your right though, its prolly gonna be the key thats foobareed. Wouldnt worry too much about it now though as you can copy your game to your HDD with XEXmenu even with a incorrect key :D :D. Does now sound like a key issue.
Way better than a dead xbox though dont you think.

Yes it sure is, i'm happy with that but i can't read any game disk !!
No originals & no backup's => it says dvd and if i open it, it says put this disk in a xbox360 console... blahblahblah....
Only the xexmenu disk (Cd) that's the only disk it sees as a game.
No use having the drive in there that way, wanna put that one back in my other console
as a flashed drive so i can use it for my dvd-dl backups.
But the other side of it is that if i get the drive out i will have the constantly
blinking led, dvd-drive error.
...I'm already verry happy with my result but having a flashed drive in it would of been even better ! :)
Let us know what info 360flashtool tells you about your original drive and when type of drive you are trying to install and I can give you step by step instructions
