Hey guys! Did you hear (of course you heard da news...)? They gonna launch the banwave On November 4! Even with your Undetectable LT, they will ban you. Right now Microsoft is adding Kinect features to our Xbox and monitoring 24/7!

So I have some question for you guys:

1.Can we update it offline using an USB Drive/CD/DVD?
2.Can we go online after November 4?

Thanks.

EDIT:Forget the friggin' method... New questions. (<--LOL, why did I put "answers" there instead of "questions". EDIT: I already changed it)

3.(This question combines Question #1 and #2) If we update it offline and go online after November 4, what will happen?
4.What's the best way to do? stay offline, don't update? or Update it offline? or what? (sorry if "what" is a lil offensive)
5.When does the ban wave be over?

That's all for now...

More EDIT: New question.

6.Is it safe to update?

If you don't want to connect to Live to update, you can download the dashboard here: -

http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/4/6/146DC573-E0D9-4357-9D85-5A7DEC443050/systemupdate.zip

The new AP2.5 protection works in conjunction with the new dashboard. If you play an AP2.5 protected backup (Fable 3 is the only known AP2.5 game at the moment, but other new games may be affected), your console will be flagged and banned, unless it uses a DVD drive that isn't capable of handling the AP2.5 challenge/response tests.

If you don't play any AP2.5 games, you can update and play online as long as your backups are all properly stealthed, but you're never 100% safe from a ban, as always.

Personally, I would stay on the NXE dash and stay offline until LT+ is released. There's no ETA for that, but it will probably take a while because even though they've already cracked the new AP2.5 protection, they'll have to test it thoroughly.

Thanks, man. I don't play Fable and I don't know about my Xbox, either. Why? It can play back-up games, BUT it's not region-free only US... And also I don't know how to flash. So, I better save up some money and go to a store where they know how to flash...

If the new LT+ is up, where do I get a tutorial to install it? Thanks. I'm kinda new to hacking to Xbox, but In Wii= a little; and in PSP=Pro.

Thanks, bro!

(EDIT)PS: I know hot to download updates offline, but thanks for the answers!

Hey kid,

Just wondering, Where are you getting your sources stating the ban wave starts tomorrow? Or that Microsoft will be monitoring Xbox Live 24/7 because of the new update?

P.S. It's not necessary spreading around your sorrow on the forums because people don't want to answer your already claimed questions.

Here, this is what I found:

Flashed DVD Drive Ban Wave 360 Coming!!

As some of you may or may not know, there will be a dashboard update for the Xbox 360 to add Kinect capabilities. If you are legit and actually buying games like you are supposed to, then good for you! This dashboard update will not affect you in any way. However, if you are a pirate, and you have an Xbox with a flashed DVD drive to play burned games, you?re outta luck. Microsoft has coded a live banning system into the new dashboard to moniter what firmware your DVD drive has. If it doesn?t match what they have on file, then congrats. You are now the owner of a banned Xbox 360. This affects the ?undetectable? iXtreme LT firmware as well. If you have a flashed Xbox, do not update on November 4th.
