ok so today i was banned. I have not played anything or done anything with it since it was banned. i have a 60gb hardrive where my profile and saved games are. I also have a 256mb memory card. If i buy a new unmodded xbox from bestbuy. Is there anyway i can get my saved games to work on my new xbox?

Yeah your saves should work. If your profile is corrupt, delete it, and then recover it.
