Well I have some questions first I'd like to flash my 360 but I was wondering if with the new USB update could I just flash my xbOx with a USB drive if so how? also if not instead of a sata to sata could I use a USB to data (don't really want to opean my computer) if I use this do I still need to check my chip set? Soz if these are alot of noobish ?s thx in advanced

Not 100% sure but I believe no.

Since you can't do the above, then yes you need to check your chipset for SATA compatibility.

Well thanks alot for the information gona go out to raidio shak get me a sata to sata n have a lil weekend project (lol even though I should be studing for finals :p )

Well, I have just updated my FW on my BenQ. So that makes it the second time flashing it...

Both times I used a sata to sata cable to my mobo. Direct. And both times I had different hard drives and had no problems at all. Just make sure you disable your DVD/CD roms and plug your sata cable in the next available slot...
