I had someone change my liteon drive for a benq and spoofed it 1.4 to play backup games. Now I want to upgarde to 1.6 using jungle flasher 1.66. When I was going to flash my drive, it sees it as a liteon. My question is, do I have to flash it like a liteon or a benq? Please help!!!!!
if per chance it doesnt go into vendor mode,,do the 1 second power cycle,,sometimes if the drive is flashed with ixtreme,,have to power cycle for it to go into vendor mode,,,and somtmes you dont,,cheers
thank you for the response guys,i was unsure before proceeding because like i said a liteon on my orginal xbox then changed it to benq. I was surprise when jungle flasher was detecting it as if it was a liteon.
Coorva, what did you mean "do the 1 second power cycle"?

The replacement BenQ drive was spoofed as a Lite-ON otherwise, the 360 would detect the foreign drive and not boot up. The identification string is changed to a Lite-ON rather than BenQ to avoid the boot up problem.
To the power cycle question, if BenQ Unlock does not work for you, click Intro device ID. Then a pop-up box will come up, click OK, then dots will go across the bottom of the JF log. Disconnect power to the DVD drive (unplug DVD drive power cable) for 1 second, and then plug back in.
