so i made my bootbale usb and when i turn my computer on it doesnt find it. how do i know what port my pci card is in. i have a via 6421.. please help and i am new to this.. i need help

It may be that your USB device does not support booting. I have had the same with mine. Any reason you are not using JungleFlasher?

Best thing to do is use JungleFlasher, go to the MTK FLash tab and select Via Ports only. This will then only list the ports on your Via card.

so if the usb wont let me boot up how do i flash the drive? i dont know why i havent used jungleflasher just read alot about iprep. do you know where i could find a good tutorial on jungleflasher?

I have flashed both ways (JF and USB). If you're trying to find what com port your card is using, go into your device manager and find raid controllers. You should see the 6421 in there. Right click it and select properties. There should be a resource tab in there to find out what com port it is using. Good luck!
