BenQ freezes my Windows - JF

Hi there,
I have LiteOn 83850c, which I flashed last year and everything hunky dory. I ordered BenQ drive as a backup if needed ever. Recently I ordered Blaster CK3 and installed it. Saved dummy.bin from LiteOn and installed BenQ drive and tried spoofing it. I think it went through until I was trying to flash firmware using JungleFlasher MTK Flash 32 Write option. Everything was fine up until my laptop froze on me and that was the end. Now, when I connect my XBOX360 to my laptop in Windows, my computer freezes up. I bypassed Blaster CK3 and connect directly to laptop (via Via card) samething. Tried both Windows 7 and another laptop with Windows XP, freezes up. I tried putting LiteOn but it doesn't read any Game Disc (just shows open tray and close tray)!!! HELP!!

try using dos flash to flash the firmware

I read somewhere that you can use a BENQ Laser on a Liteon drive as a replacement...not 100% sure if this is true or not as I haven't ever had to do this.

But, all things considered...if you're still stuck, grab a soldering iron and replace the laser on the original drive.

I've done this myself. You can swap lasers between Benq's and LO's.
