I was in the middle of flashing my BenQ from 1.51 to 1.61 and I got an error saying write flash failed or something like that. I decided I would put the stock firmware back on it then reflash to 1.61 in the middle of trying to flash it locks up my comp. I waited hoping it would unfreeze but nope after 15 minutes it was still froze so I had to hard reset my comp. Now the drive freezes my comp when I power it on and it is hooked to my comp. Is it gone? I thought they had bad flash recovery or something. I need help bad.

unplug all other drives that you arent using and try it again

Well its the only drive other than of course my hdd that my OS is on. Thats why I am stumped. Any other ideas

Thats what I am using. I can't get Iprep setup. It says it makes it bootable usb drive but yet when I go to load it up it says to Press any key to restart. I'm not retarted I know how to boot to dos yet iprep won't do it for me. GD I hate this crap. I think M$ does something to your firmware where you can't upgrade it after you are banned. If so then they will be getting this one back as defective from my local Wal-mart. Any ideas as to why my comp keeps freezing or not loading.

Update: My comp is froze but it says that the drive is in vendor mode. Is this why the drive won't respond?
