Benq to Sammy swap

Hey guys I have two question. My moded benQ drive on my xbox360 kinnada got messed up during a recent upgrade. my computer crashed at the firmware write part and now i have a drive that the computer wont recgonise in win xp and the power lite keeps blinking. i tried all the possible methods available dosflash jungleflasher etc and cant get the drive to recgonise to be able to put frimware on it. I have ordered a sammy through ebay and was wondering if i can replace my benq with sammy MS28 TS-H943. here is my questions after reading many forms and tutorials.

1) i have the original drive key and fw, when i flash the new drive do i just replace the key for the new drive with the key from the old drive.

2) when i flash it do I put the ixtreme firmware for sammy or for benq on the new sammy drive.

any guidance or tutorials will be really appreciated.

Hi there, my understanding is:

Flash the new Sammy with the IXtreme 1.6 Samsung firmware as a spoofed BenQ, adding in the BenQ's original drive key.

If that's incorrect, no doubt one of the experts like leerage will be along to help out!

You are correct. But in this case, his BenQ is fixable. BenQs support Bad Flash recovery and can easily be un-bricked. :)
