Firstly, I spent about 6 hours last night trying different tutorials and methods but with no luck.

The tools:

Benq VAD6038 Stock Drive
CK3 Pro
VIA 3924 (OK, so its not a 6421, but I used this to flash my liteon so should be fine, right?)
Jungleflasher
0800 firmware

The problem is I just could not get it to unlock, just kept returning the error 'Vendor intro failed'.

Im definetly seeing the drive in jf, and have tried a different different ports on the card and different SATA cables to make sure but with no luck.

One thing I should mention though is that I cant find the CK3's green cable so have been using the blue probe cable to connect drive to CK3. Would this cause a problem?

Any advice would be appreciated on this :)
