Boot Disc Loader??? HELP!

OK, I haven't bought the console yet, but I need some info... I have questions...
To answer the questions, just put a tag (for example "Q1" (Q1 is Question 1), and then input your answer.

Question 1: What type of XBOX 360? Orginal, Live Arcade, Elite, etc.?
Question 2: Does it need to be modded (the console)? then what kind of mod or mod chip, etc?
Question 3: I know it will let you play XBOX 380 games that you bought (Pirated) or burned, but does this need to have some partner mod chip or something? (A possible connection from Question 2)
Question 4:Does this ban you from XBOX Live!?
Question 5: Do we really need this thing? or do we just need a mod chip to play burned games?
Question 6: (A possible connection from Question 1,2,3 (A strong connection) and 5) I talked to a employee of a gamimg shop, and she said that the XBOX 360s (Live Arcade) she used for a gaming zone (a half dozen of stations) were modded with a mod chip and uses the Boot Disk Loader to load games (burned) that doesn't seem to work. Is this true?
Question 7: (A strong connection from Question 6) Does the loader only bypass and let it play games that can't be recognized?
That "May" be it, but I may post some more in the future...
Oh, I almost forgot, Put a tag "INFO" to give me more info that aren't in the questions or how it works, or may brick it, etc.

That is your preference, all DVD drive can be modded.

You'll need to dump the firmware of the DVD drive and then flash with iXtreme firmware.

?? There is older modchips but they are outdated and pretty much useless now. DVD drive firmware flashing is the way to go.

Wait... leerage. sigh, I know it's a bit annoying but I want my XBOX safe.
Q9: Does Mod chips ban you from XBOX LIVE!? Is it all the mod chips?
because, I have no Idea where to start with modding. Anyway the shop already modded the XBOX 360s on sale.
The "Boot Disk Loader" maybe annoying, because you keep on inserting and out-serting the disk and put the burned game. Even thought the 2 shops (Shop 1 is here and shop 2 is back to the city). Shop 1 (here at my home town, I kinda live to another city, years ago) Has a different Mod or something and Shop 2 is really needs this "Boot Disk Loader" to play.
I played 2 stations (back where I live now), Station 1 was Shop 2, I played and really needs a "Boot Disk Loader". Station 2 is at a short mall, I played and no "Boot Disk Loader" to insert of...
Q10: What does the "Boot Disk Loader" Really do?
Q11: Which is more less "ban" Boot Disk Loader or Mod chips? Which is more safe? which is preferable? (I'm doing this if my cousin or friends has a unmodded XBOX 360, and give him suggestions, anyway, The Xbox i'm going to buy is already modded)

Tell me you're joking. Instead of wanting more info about the Ultimate Sticky, read it. That will help you understand why you don't need a modchip. In short, you can either run modified firmware on your optical drive, or you could run a outdated modchip. I would go with flashing the firmware if I were you. It's cheaper, and much easier. Seriously, if you haven't read through the Ultimate Sticky, please do so now.

Modded by default? If you would have stated that in the first place, we could have probably guided you a little bit better. Is it flashed with firmware? If so, what version drive and firmware? There's always a chance that you could get banned on xbox live using hacked firmware, or a modchip. The latest and greatest firmware made is LT 1.1. It's only available for benq and lite-on drives as of now (samsung and hitachi are in the works). Any firmware before LT is considered "unsafe".

That was his point. It was to make you realize how easy it is to do a search instead of asking questions. And yes, you can flash back to stock firmware if you do decide to flash your drive.

If you know how to do it then do it instead of relying on people to spoonfeed you, we all got to know this stuff by researching it's not that hard and it's alot quicker than asking questions in a forum.
