I can't figure this out LOL. I am following the readme for 1.20 and I click on freestyle and it boots me back to the main dash. If I boot xexmenu and launch the xex file it works. Anyone have the steps in installing this to a usb drive? It does work on my sata drive fine.
I didn't try that. Never used it. How do you use quickboot to do this? I think I am also confused what files to use for the usb drive. They are different when using a regular hdd right? Where do I need to place the .xex file and which one do I need?
Download Quickboot
Open up the freestyle dash folder
Put the "FreeStyle" folder in the root of your USB drive
Open up Quickboot
In the title box put FreeStyle Dash or whatever you want
In the Description box put Dashboard or whatever you want
In the Path box put "usb:\FreeStyle\FreestyleDash.xex" without quotes
Keep file type as Xbox 360 Game
Click Built QuickBoot
Save to desktop as Freestyle
Take that file and place it onto your xbox 360 HDD (Not your USB drive)
The file goes in Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00007000
Reboot xbox
Now go to your game library and you should see the icon for Freestyle Dash, click it and it should boot into Freestyle from your USB
