I no its has not been done yet. But it can be.

How does M$ know what dis you have in your drive? when the game is on the HDD already all the console is doing is verifying you have the disc. Seems easy to overcome that without a complete software and hardware mod.

It may seem easy to overcome, but keep in mind that MS also thought of this and worked hard to prevent it.

So what may seem easy for the common 360 user to overcome is, in all reality, far from easy.

M$ is gay. If they were like sony and didnt car or like apple and basicly provided people the hack the would sell more.

I just bought i ZuneHD i have yet to find a hack for.

a complete boot from the hdd would be nice, but that would give EVERYONE the opportunity to rent and rip the games. if you were in microsoft's position, you would do everything to prevent that. also, LIVE is their own, so they can boot off whoever breaks the TOS.

it's simple; keep a stock 360, buy the games, and go on LIVE with no problems. or have a modded 360, buy the games and rip them, and use a tunneling program like xlink kai or leaf network.

I got the new MW2 edition...i would hack it and tunnel except when i tunnel i notice there are not many people on there yet. im going to wait till the community grows before i depend solely on tunneling for my online gaming.

Microsoft doesn't make much money off the games as is. They shouldnt care about the game producers and give us hacks w/o booting people. Or...just had an amazing idea. pay more for live (like $75 instead of $50) and have less TOS....doubt they would go for it but its an idea..

Shouldn't care about game producers? Without them, what do you have. You have a console and nothing to do with it. The producers are the backbone of the 360.

Make no mistake, MS makes a ton from game sales. They'll gladly ban someone who only pays $50/yr for LIVE vs. those who purchase actual games.

hacks without booting people on LIVE? never gonna happen. think of it. you would be playing against others who can have trainers or custom isos installed. there is no honor code when hacks are involved.

honestly, if you're complaining about the things you don't like about microsoft, you might as well create your own company and game console.

I love the producers(especially bungie...aka microsoft)
I understand why they put the restrictions but sony doesnt do it...well they make it easy to hack w/o getting banned and they seem to be doing pretty well.

M$ should let the producers worry about copyright infringement and stuff like that and let them come up with ideas to beat it.
