Bricked Lite-on drive?

hey guys, i accidentally deleted the firmware on the lite on drive while flashing... i have been researching that if you still have your bin files (dummy.bin etc) you can fix it with dosflash! the problem is i stupidly reformatted my computer a few days later forgetting the bin files were saved on the desktop

any solutions? or do i need to buy a new drive??

you need to buy a new xbox, you just lost your dvd key so now you have an expensive dvd player.

Yeah, it seems like you're SOL. Only other thing, dpending on how long ago you reformated is to try to use a recovery program and see if it can find the bin file, if you only did a low level format. Chances are really slim that you'll find it.

What dashboard is your xbox running? Maybe able to recover it with the JTAG hack (if your running dash 7371 or below)

If you can't flash a drive or even backup the bin files, I'm sure you don't know how to perform a jtag. Sell it on ebay and pick up a new one. Or try to send it to M$ for repair
