okay so.. i bought my modded xbox from the net from about 1month ago.. and burned my first game after that with osx360.. the game was "Skate 3".. its working perfectly on my xbox.. but then i downloaded and burned gta iv with the same program.. and when i put it into the console it says "Reading" for about 10secs and then "open tray" so its open tray error.. but i can play skate 3, but not gta iv.. so is the problem in the console or in the gta iv disc? what i have done wrong:D? please help me with this.. thanks

What type of discs are you using and when's the last time you updated your dvd burner's firmware?

i used verbatim double layer 8.5gb discs for skate3 and maxell dvd+r dl 8.5gb disc for gta iv..

and the firmware is the newest possible..

i followed this guide on internet on the both times.. but on 6x writing speed

That's probably the problem. Should have stayed with Verbatim.

there wasnt verbatims in shop were i went.. (im from finland), and i think maxell cd's are more popular and higher quality than verbatim.. but i dunno

and the problem isnt the cds.. the problem is the way i burn or something...

Maxell is crap, couldn't get a single game to run on Maxell discs. I tried them once, because here they are cheaper than Verbatims, but even Platinum disks are of better quality.
And the problem is definitely the disks.

So order som from online. Even though I'm in the U.S., I know Verbs can be found throughout Europe.

And how do you know this?
You yourself said that you used a Verbatim for Skate 3 (which works), and a Maxell for GTA IV (which doesn't work). Stick with what works (hint: the Verb).

paska, even if you disagree try the verbatims anyway just to try and eliminate each problem to get your gta iv working :)
