Hey, so recently a couple of my burned games will not work on my xbox. I have set the layer brick and have the latest firmware, so i know its a problem with the disc or the method of burning..I had an old copy of batman, and burned it but it got scrachted up so i wanted to reburn and play it. So when i rebunred the copy, it contiued to give me a disc read error. I tried burning a different game, and at first it gave the same error, then i reburned it, the exact same way, and it worked. And now i continue to get that error. I dont' want to keep retrying each burn until it might work because i don't want to waste discs....does anybody have any suggestions to what i should do?
Do originals work OK? It could be the drive, rather than the burned games. Have you tried verifying the burned disc using abgx360? If it fails, then it's probably a bad burn.
I did AGBX and it works. Also originals work too. It's odd that it's failing becuase like i said earlier, i burned two copies of final fantasy the exact same way and it worked one time and gave me disc read error the other time.
