I have gone through the tutorials here on how to do it and still cant get them to work.
Things I have tried:-
2 diffenet makes of DL media
2 different burners on 2 different machines
3 different iso's
3 different programs - clonedvd, nero, imgburn Tried many different variations of settings in each of the programs
I burn only at 2x and 2.4x speed
I have a pile of 9 failed disc's, they all do the same thing - put them in the 360 and it tries to read then after a minute it says open tray.
I know the flash was good as a friends 'back-ups' worked on my 360
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Above was my original post in another thread, qwert99 kindly responded and said I could possilby need a POT calibration.
A couple of things I didnt say in the above post was, I have a Hitachi drive, and, eventho burnt discs dont work, originals still do.
With this in mind would I still need to do a POT calibration, this seems very technical and would love to exhust all over avenues before proceeding with this.
$38 on new discs -- Check
$15 on burn after burn that showed as a DVD -- Check
$11 on new laser -- Check
$28 on new multimeter -- Check
