I have burned 2 xbox 360 games already using imgburn, but i tried to burn cod:mondern warfare 2 at least 3 times and it didnt read as a game, it read as a dvd and didnt play.Can somebody help me out.thx
what other games did you burn?
what version of ixtreme do you have?
my initial guess is that you have an older ixtreme version, you burnt games that were wave 3 or earlier and you need the activate.iso to run cod.
if that's the case... search activate disc or activate.iso for the 360. you'll need to download it, burn it to a disc and play it before any new games. OR... update your firmware.

I burned Borderlands and 2K10, and I dont know which version of ixtreme i have because i had my xbox modded by someone else.
so i should try to update the firmware and it should work.?
and is there any way to find out which version i have.?
And just to let you know i jus got i modded in about January.

Hmm... it sounds like you need to update the firmware for the mod. However, you did say you got it modded in Jan, I'm not sure when the newest mod was released but I would suspect earlier then Jan. I would call the guy you got it modded from and ask him what firmware he probably put on it in Jan and then come back here.

Whoever modded it for you has put 1.6 or lower on your drive as the "play dvd" error is down to a new wave that older firmwares can't read, just get it reflashed with LT if tou have benq or liteon or 1.61 if you have a samsung.
I doubt you have hitachi as the highest firmware for that is 1.51 and that reads all waves.
