Burnt 360 Games Reading as DVD

I modded my xbox360 last year its the arcade model with the matching white tray
Since ive got it modded ive had no problems Burning several games

Marvel Vs cap-com being the most recent
now all of a sudden every game i burn reads as a DVD
i went through a 5 pack of TDK DVD+R DL
just tried a Vertibram 2.4X DL disc same
deal.
Each time it Burns with IMG BURN successful
like before but doesn't read in xbox

Is there some new firmware or something im missing since this is a new
game i payed $200 last year to mod my xbox so it should play anything

The games are Crisis 2 and home-front

do your old games come up as Play DVD or do they boot like a original game?

it may be because the firmware you flashed the dvd drive which is too old to detect that MVC3 is a game

Marvel vs cap-com 3 and everything before that Works Great 100 percent
Its Crysis 2 and home front im having problems with.

i took my 360 into a mod shop last year so i dont know anything about modding is there a way i can update the firmware of my 360 or would i have to pull it apart cause i wouldn't know where to start?

The new games burn fine but when i insert them you cant hear the 360 powering up and processing it. The screen goes black for 5 seconds then the white 360 logo appears on the screen when i press Y back to the dashboard where it should say play game it says dvd.

can you call the place where you got your console modded and ask them what firmware did they flash to your console? if you cant then are you comfortable with opening your 360 and having a look at the dvd drive on your pc? If you are then download and read the 2 PDF files below. They will help you alot

Just update the firmware to current and games will boot. If old games boot and new games do not, it's the firmware.
