Buying a new DVD Burner - any recommendations?

My drive is about shot with probably 500 burns, it is now erroring out at 98% with imgburn and It's making fine coasters now. Anyhow, I am going to order a new burner from newegg and I was wondering if anyone here had any particular brand that had more longevity and success rate than others. I will be replacing a Liteon DH16A3L. Any advise?

I would also like to add that i don't need to rip games with it.

Samsungs are usually the cheapest burner they have and they work good. I have used the same one for the past 2 years and its still going strong. Probably have about 350-450 burns on it.
