There seem to be a LOT of ungrateful b@st@rds out there. C4E seems to catch a LOT of unwarranted criticism from b@st@rdic individuals who don't "seem" to realize that this is something he doesn't have to do.
His firmwares need to be taken for what they are (fixes). LT, down the line will be exploited by Microsoft, the same way Microsoft's firmware is exploited by C4E. It goes back and forth, and will continue .
Truthfully, his firmwares have done the job. But it's unwise to think that his software won't be dealt with down the line. It always is. Microsoft has too much money. All of you b@st@rds out there should be more than grateful for what he has already done, not griping about what he hasn't done yet.
I'm not a "promoter" of C4E, I don't know him at all. Didn't know who he was until a couple years ago maybe. I just happen to have been on his side of the fence before (but, nowhere near this magnitude).

I think anyone who blames C4E for getting banned or whining about how they thought the fw was undetectable, needs to take a step back and have a good long look at themselves, i mean what more do you want from the guy?

No, not all. I'm talking about people (in that and other threads), who directly criticize C4E for his time frame, his thoroughness, etc. After all, it's something he doesn't have to do.
Wabash (I think) started that thread, but he is not the demographic I'm talking about. Actually, I agree with his standpoint. If everyone would follow the advice that they search for and find here (which includes using Verbs), then we may have LT already, which is what Bash was basically saying. I have the same sentiments as Matt:

And just like the one poster said in the other thread, not every Verb is the perfect little disc some think they are. They contract it out and you could get a batch that isn't 100% spec so does that mean LT won't run it?
Then we'd see a bunch of threads about people with Verbs but they don't boot. Again, nobody likes to troubleshoot anymore.

Drama Drama. I don't care. Just give me my firmware. If I get banned, whatever. It's my own fault.

Verbs are like anything else manufactured. There are gonna be some bad ones. But at least with Verbs there is consistency in the manufacturing process. And if everyone used Verbs, you'd only see a fraction of the "Won't Boot" threads". Most of the "Won't Boot" threads are from cheap media, no/wrong layer break info, and "un-needed patches. With Verbs it's not usually the disc itself.

Well, sadly, we have no stats and nearly impossible to verify such stats so talking about it will never end. Besides, there is already a thread about the discs.
