So I've just got my XBOX360 modded for like 2 weeks. Most of the backed up games worked on my X360 with Ixtreme 1.6. But yesterday i've burned Call of Juarez Blood in Bound everything went fine and the X360 reads the discs but I can only start playing the game if I update the software. I have a couple questions about this issue:

1: Will this update affect my Modded X360 Ixtreme 1.6 Software?
2: Will I get banned from Xbox Live if I download this software update?
3: Is Xbox Live Silver enough to download software updates?

PS: I assume that this game belongs to the 3rd Wave Series, but thy UFC Undisputed worked fine and no Updates were needed to play the game? I've checked the Rip with ABX360 and everything was green, the game was stealth and even got a vertification + the game CRC was checked and was valid.

have you looked up any of the multiple posts that have asked this same type of question? The only update you shouldn't do are dashboard updates. Game updates are fine.

Now where did you get that one from? There is absolutely no problem with dashboard updates. Most people here still mistake the drive's firmware with the Xbox 360's firmware. You can update the Xbox 360's firmware with anything that comes from Microsoft, it doesn't affect the drive's firmware (that one which allows you to play backups).

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

It's not a game update it's a Software update. And is Xbox Live Silver enough to do this Update
