You'll have to try it out in Jungle Flasher. If you get problems, then at the moment it can't be dumped. If you can, you got really lucky. ;)

I thought the 8xxxx could be dumped, and that the newest ones (9xxxx) can't be done, yet.

The August 2009 83850C has problems. Either it is actually has new 93450C firmware or just key relocation/new encryption. Only way to know is to try and see if you can dump the key. If you can't, you'll have to wait.

Can you post a JF log and are using the 360 to power the drive or a connectivity kit?

I can verify you cannot dump a drive from Aug. 2009. I have seen no reports of anyone that could either.

gameover9, My drive is the 83850c stamped August 2009. This is my second liteon drive from that time frame. I could not get my first one to work....returned console for another and managed to flash this drive in no time. Working like a charm, still on live, having a blast.

So yes, it is possible to dump some of these drives and from what I've read the only way to find out is to give it a try...if you can't, you must have the second version.
