Can a drive be replace with a different drive? 16d2s to vad6038

Hi guys
I want to replace a 16d2s drive with a vad6038 but idk if i can do that.
can i use jungle flasher and put the old drive key into the new one or is a lot more work to make it work?
if i can, do i get banned from live if i replace it that it cant play backup game? I was thinking of doing this bc 16d2s is $36 and vad6038 is $20

yeah you can replace the drive, read up on how to spoof a drive ;)

im doing it with a vad6038, is this one good or what other you think? im trying to save money bc the drive it got now is $36 on ebay

vad6038 is benq and yes they're good drives. Be sure to use the original stock firmware when spoofing, not ixtreme, and you wont get banned
