Can a Lite-On 93450c and 93450c-V2 be flashed the same way?

Trying to flash my very first 93450c drive and after doing research I noticed I have the second version of the drive.

I have cut the traces according to the tutorial for the first 93450c and my system refuses to detect the drive. I'm running an XP system with a VIA 6421 card and have flashed all other 360 drives in the past including the 74 Lite-On.

I know my traces are cut completely, clean and deep and I'm using the Liteon 83850V2 and 93450 Solderless Key Extractor and have tried all of the resistors provided. I keep getting MTK failed and a 0x80 response.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm planning to buy a multimeter today to check if its the traces. Just wanted to know if anyone here has experienced the same thing.

First off, this mod is near impossible without a multimeter. Second, get yourself the vampire probe or make one. I've done several now with no problems.

Regarding my question, can the 2nd version of the 93450c drive be flashed the same way as the first 93450c drive?

yes, they all flash the exact same way. You always need to use the full dump method for live as well. You will flash all lite-on's this way
