I have bought Xbox 360 & I am looking to flash it. Now, I know Microsoft will ban me if I get caught palying burned/backup games. But what I wanted to know is that Can I log in Xbox live for 1. Updating Firmware (Dash Board) ? 2. Vist Market Place for downloading DEMO's & Extra contents without loading the burned/backup disk ?

Well, I don't think anybody has been banned from live with ixtreme 1.6 yet, but there is always a possibility. Aslong as your games are stealth patched. Some people believe if you play a backup offline the data is stored on the cache, then trasnferred to ms when next connecting to live, thus banning the console (if a bad backup is played)... but this is yet to be proven.

it will be a problem if you get banned. once you are banned, you cannot connect to LIVE at all. so you wont be able to download demos or update the dash.

Updating Dash wont be a problem since we can update it via CD !! But Downloading DEMO's will become a nightmare !! Anyway.... Sooner or later, Elite will take care of that !!

huh?Excuse Me.... I dont know what you are up to. But If you are wondering about "Sooner or later, Elite will take care of that" Statement, I ment was is that I will get an Xbox 360 Elite in couple of months & I will use my current Flashed Xbox 360 PRO for backup games & Elite will be used for Original Games For Online play, Downlaods & other stuffs !!
