ok my subject isnt too clear..but what im wondering is i have a lite on drive i flashed with the latest 1.6 ixtreme repack and i want to know..if theres a way of sorts to spoof my backups so..lets say the disk drive can think its in there but it could just be something telling it its in there but its really like a mini disk image like they do on pc game cracks like ill burn it onto a cdr but i would have already manually installed the game to my hdd so it runs off there but just gets that lil check to make sure the game is in my drive ya know? sounds a bit confusing but i hope someone gets the jist of what im asking here i just hate buying expensive verbatims and was wondering if this was a option....ive simplified it after some thought in theory i want no cd cracks...except on cd's for my backups ya know? lol

How else are you going to get the game installed on your hard drive if you aren't going to buy "expensive" Verbatims? If you really think Verbatims are that expensive versus what you should be paying, go ahead and buy the cheap media and install the game to the hard drive (if it even will). May God have mercy on your laser ... lol

Ummm... I gave you an answer. You just didn't like it... there is no attitude here. :)

As for your original post, there is no way to fool the XBOX 360 into thinking there is a disk in so you don't have to get up and change the disc each time you want to play a different game.

I believe his point is that Verbatims are not "expensive" by any means (even at "full" price). When you say "I just hate buying expensive Verbatims", it sounds like you've bought, and bought, and bought. If so, it sounds like you've burned 50+ games (at least two 25 packs of "expensive" Verbatims). Even at 2 dollars a disc, you've maybe burned 50 games at less than the price of two A-list retail games. That's far from "expensive", which is what leerage was probably getting at.

Furthermore, the price doesn't even matter. If Verbs were 25 cents a disc, and Memorex was cheaper at 15 cents, people would still bitch about expensive Verbatims, and not just accept that they cost a LITTLE more for a reason. A damned good reason at that.

Not a problem man. Sorry if I sounded rude, that was not my intentions.

Well I'll take the attitude I know leerage wanted to....

this is just stupid.

No, you can't do this obviously, like said above. If so, don't you think it would have been widely discussed?

Getting attitude with a senior guy isn't going to win you any more help.
