Can MS detect ixtreme 1.61 firmware on a liteon drive?

I have been searching around for a while and not found a straight answer, some say yes some say no
but can microsoft detect your custom firmware (ixtreme 1.61) on a liteon or any drive even with all of he proper saftey procotions taken like stealth patching the games and not playing games before there release date?

that's not an option as ive just ordered a pre flashed console with 1.61 on it (not even got it yet) and i don't have the proper equipment to flash it again myself.

well that really blows,to be on the safe side dont even go online,you dont even know if the console has already been flagged for a ban

It's Brand new, never been used so its not been flagged i don't think, but I was kinda guessing that i shouldn't go online with it *sigh*. im planning to get some service to reflash it maybe next year or something with LT or what ever knew CF is out then but im gonna wait and see how it goes cause i still dunno whether to trust LT yet

I think, at least from what I've understood. If a console has been modded before, and then u update to LT they won't "guarantee" it to be live safe. Even if it hasn't been online it could have caught the update from a disc, flagged, and waiting to hit XBL for the next ban wave.
Now i don't think this is absolute, because people on here have done just that and are online with no issues so far. It's just the thought that unless it's a virgin, who knows what's been done to it.

Still haven't got my 1.61 benq yet, sailed it straight through november ban wave ;)

Banned on iX1.5 Liteon. Currently wants to buy a new xbox but does not understand how all this flashing works and will not pay £40 to get this xbox flashed again.
