hey everyone, i have a bunch of old xbox backups in my shed, and i have been dying to dig them out. i want to know if it is worth it, i mean will they even work? if not they are all saved on my computer so i can re-burn them to the right media.
they are currently burned to single layer discs, I have a modded hitachi drive. thanks in advance.

resolved? this thread is not resolved. you just posted it. if your resolved it or answered your questions, post the answers. how could this possibly help anyone if you don't post the conclusions?

His conclusions are that :
In his current setup, he will not be able to play the Xbox 1 backup games. In order to play Xbox 1 games from a single layer DVD you need a Samsung drive equipped with old Xtreme firmware.
He must also make sure his original Xbox backups are not modified in any way, most of them if not all of them will be.
This answer has been posted on here a few times before so he probably searched.
