Im Fairly new here at Afterdawn but I've been searching around for anything that can help me but so far nothing. I don't Know what Im doing wrong. Maybe its because of a bad burner. But Heres the situation.
I have a Benq drive flashed with iXtreme firmware 1.61.
I got it professionally mod so it cant be a bad flash.
I use Img-Burn, set Layer Break to 1913760, Change Booktype to DVD-ROM, Ran the Iso through Abgx-360 1.02. I tried it with 3 different burners both with there highest firmware. The First with an HL-DT-ST GH22NS40. Burned at 2.4x with Verbatim DVD+R DL. Once it finished burning. ImgBurn said on the Status Bar = "Disc Control Blocks Information" and hang on that Status and Not Give me "Disc is not Empty" and my DVD Drive Wont Open. My Second One Is an HL-DT-ST GH22NS30 which does exactly what the GH22NS40 does and its even on my better, newer PC. So I tried my Last Drive which is a lite-on iHBS212 it finishs burning everything went well. But When I play it on my Xbox360 it only says play Game and then it says disc is scratched. My Xbox is only like 5 months old and probably only used four times (dont have many games). Can Anyone Identify the Problem. One game actually burned correctly but would freeze after first cutscene (halo odst) but its a common problem with alot of xboxs. another is Final Fantasy 13. Freezes when I start Playing or During The Intro when I start the Disc. Thanks for Reading this and if you Can help out, that would be appreciated. (Im only burning Money wasting Verbatim Discs. I only have 14/20 left)
Run your burned DVD through ABGX and see if it reports the same as the original image. Also, do you know anyone with a flashed 360 to test your burned games on.
It may also be the media, strange as it sounds. I have come across 1 xbox that would not read verbatims, but read a cheapo copy fine, just dont get memorex!
Right, you need to figure out if the xbox or your DVD burner, try a known working copy in your drive, if it works then you know the problem is your burns.
