I have tried everything and can't get a toshiba ms25 drive into vendor mode.
I am running Jungle Flasher 0.1.70 beta with 64bit drivers, on a TA790GX 128mb.
Ok, I turn the xbox on and pc.
Boot pc without driver signing.
Open Jungle Flasher
Find the i/0 port
select sammy unlock
step 1-3 success but Vendor Intro Failed comes up every time!
Please help!

I just power cycled my drive until it went into vendor mode... I think I had to power it on/off twice before it went into vendor. After that, everything went smoothly.

Sammy unlock is only for MS28 with stock FW for the MS25 all you do is hit the Intro tab

Yeah thats all you need to hit when you hit it it will say power drive on and off withina a second or something like that. Just Power cycle the drive once the message pops up. Quick question had that drive been flashed before ?

Onboard, it is a TA790GX 128mb motherboard, that is all I know. But I also have access to a MSI Platinum 790 motherboard if need be (would have to swap the mobos). I don't have any external chipsets.

Do you mean to look on the actual motherboard? If so, I only see SATA II, but don't see any nforce or VIA?
