Is it possible to hardware mod or software (i.e. firmware) mod the Xbox 360S (i.e. Slim) yet? If so, could someone post some links please. Thanks.

no far nothing has been released, it cannot be hard modification and I doubt it ever will be...If you mean a modchip, as they are no longer necessary

Yeah, I'm not as interested in hardware mods (i.e. mod chips). I'm more interested in software or firmware mods. So, so far nothing has been released that allows this?

i believe the team have done it i read some other post but nothing has been made public as of yet it will come though they never let the scene down

Hitachi was released on the 24th of December. S model is being worked on now.
