Can you be banned from live for.......

Ok, I was banned from xbox live. I have a 120 gig HD that I now use on my new console (that will not be modded) I use for live only. I have another modded 360 (that is not banned) can I play games EARLY (pre-release) on the modded 360 and use my 120 HD and still connect that HD to the NEW 360 I use for live play?

I know on the banned 360 it will corrupt my profile but I had an extra 360 that is modded and not banned (and never will connect to live) I just want to make sure I do not put my new 360 in any jeopardy of being banned ( or my gamertag for that matter). I have been just switching the HD back and forth (so I can still get my gamer score up) but I have been worried about playing a game early (on the unbanned modded one) and connecting that HD to the new console and it signing into live and banning me somehow or my tag.

Anybody have any XP with this?


P.S. sorry if this has been discussed (which I am sure it has) but I could not find it when I searched, hell I could not even think of a way to search it. Thanks in advance fellas!
